A 100% Stacked Bar Chart and a Legend.

A 100% Stacked Bar Chart and a Legend.

Overview

The 100% Stacked Bar chart displays multiple series of data as stacked bars (or columns) sized by each metric value's percentage of the stack total. The total of each stack is always 100% so that the entire chart will be filled. This chart is used to compare the relative values of multiple metrics along a dimension.

Tip: An easy way to split your data into multiple series is to use a KPI splitter dimension.

Bars may be vertical or horizontal—to show horizontal bars, transpose the chart's axes.

Tip: To display percentage labels along the Y axis, set its scale Label Format property. See Using Charts for details.

Features

All 100% Stacked Bar series are displayed stacked on top each other unless the Stacked Group Name property has been set on one or more series. Above each X axis value, the series are grouped into separate stacks of series that have been set to the same stacked group name.

Tip: Create separate KPIs or datasets for each stacked group so that you can easily set the Stacked Group Name property on each series in the Dashboard Designer.
