Overview

This article shows how to view your available dashboards from either the Dashboard Directory or the Design Explorer in the Sidebar.

Viewing a dashboard from the Design Explorer

If you have user privileges for designing dashboards, you can also view dashboards from the Design Explorer.

To view a dashboard from the Design Explorer:

  1. Click Design Explorer in the Sidebar.

  2. Click the dropdown list at the top of the Design Explorer and choose the project containing the dashboards you want to view.
    The Design Explorer.
  3. Expand the Dashboards folder.
  4. Click the menu button of one of the dashboards (or right-click over it). The Dashboard menu is displayed.
    The Dashboard menu.
  5. From the Dashboard menu, choose View. The corresponding dashboard appears in the Content Pane.

View as HTML

The View as HTML option lets you view the dashboard in another browser window using HTML5 rendering. The resulting URL is accessible from devices, such as tablets, which support HTML but not Silverlight.
