PluginManager is a utility that is included with the Dundas Dashboard installation for installing plug-ins packaged using the Plugin Packager utility or uninstalling existing plug-ins.

By default, the PluginManager utility is installed to the following folder:

Program Files\Dundas Data Visualization Inc\Dundas Dashboard\{InstanceName}\Tools\PluginManager\

How to install a plug-in

  1. Open My Computer and navigate to the folder where the PluginManager utility is located.
  2. Double click PluginManager.exe to start the program.
  3. Click the Select link in the top right corner to open a Browse for Folder dialog. Use the dialog to choose the App_Data folder (⪚ C:\Program Files\Dundas Data Visualization Inc\Dundas Dashboard\{InstanceName}\www\App_Data\).
  4. From the main window you can see all of the different types of plug-ins that are installed.

  5. Click the Install button to select a .plugin file to install.
  6. After the plug-in is successfully installed, it appears in the list and a message is displayed in the status bar at the bottom.

Tip: You can also launch the Plugin Manager from your Programs menu by pointing to Dundas Data Visualization, Inc → Dundas Dashboard {version} → Tools → Plugin Manager.

Dependency Error

If there are any errors with dependencies when installing a plug-in, an error will be displayed.

Tip: You can also check for dependency problems by selecting a plugin in the list, then click the Check Dependencies button in the toolbar.
