Error observed when connecting to an ODBC Driver.

ERROR [IM014] [Microsoft] [ODBC Driver Manager] The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application

This is a Data structure discovery error message and the user is not able to connect to an ODBC data source.

This type of an error occurs if the DSN does not match the architecture of your system. i.e. DSN is configured for a 32 bit and the architecture is configured for 64 bit or vice-versa.

Check and see if the data source you are accessing matches your system's configuration.
  • Install either the 32-bit drivers or 64-bit drivers depending on which ones are missing.
  • You can also change the mode (i.e. 32-bit or 64-bit mode) in which Dundas Dashboard is running to be compatible with drivers of your data providers.

For detailed information on how to check which mode Dundas is running in i.e. 32-bit or 64-bit, and how to change between the two, please see: How to check if Dundas Dashboard is running as a 32-bit or 64-bit application
